It all started when the bass player of my band brought a SUNNYD drink to practice. It had been years since I've seen a SUNNYD, let alone thought about drinking one. It was so hilarious I posted it on Instagram, and tagged SUNNYD. 

The next day, SUNNYD had liked our post and commented "I was gonna say smooth orange makes for smooth jams, but you’ve got some tangy original there. I guess you’re making some tangy tunes"? 

From there, as a band, we decided to write the new SUNNYD theme song. We wrote the music, lyrics, and filmed a mini music videos. The SUNNYD Marketing team loved the song so much and posted it on their TikTok and Instagram reels. 

They even turned our picture into a meme.
